TOMOO INABA is a Japanese-French fragrance house founded in 2026 by perfumer Tomoo Inaba and Philippe Constantin of Maison Incens. Each fragrance is designed in Japan and produced in Grasse.
A perfumer, journalist and collector who has reviewed more than 7,500 perfumes, Tomoo Inaba doesn't call his creations art. To him, they are everyday things — meant to enrich daily life and lift the spirit, much like books do. This discovery set is your invitation into his world, seen through his filter.
Five fragrances. Five stories drawn from Japanese culture, poetry and mythology. Each presented at its full Extrait de Parfum (20%) concentration, so a single sample reveals exactly what the 50 ml bottle holds.

What's inside — 5 × 2 ml
- 001 · Dying out of Purple (滅紫) — Dusty floriental. The violet hour between the blue hour and midnight. Violet, iris, heliotrope, oud, oakmoss.
- 002 · The Courtesan Parade (花魁道中) — Fruity floral animalic musk. A dazzling procession that leaves a dirty animalic trace on the skin. Peach, cherry, rose, osmanthus, civet, castoreum.
- 003 · Secret Rendezvous (密会) — Golden floriental. Furtive love, and a golden light in the dark — never glitzy, sparkly or loud. Bergamot, lipstick accord, orange blossom, iris, vanilla.
- 005 · Amaterasuite (翡翠に宿りし) — Aromatic floriental aldehyde. Bright florals sparking from within jade — a new modern classic. Aldehydes, Emeraude accord, orange blossom, frankincense, vanilla.
- 007 · The Dust of This Fleeting World (浮世の塵) — Smooth sweet woody musk. A sandalwood incense to purify worldly desire. For inner peace, welcome to the Zen world. Sandalwood, frankincense, oud, amber, honey.
