Maison Incens is a French based fragrance house founded by Philippe CONSTANTIN in 2013. Product currently include perfumes. All products are made with a distinct focus on craftsmanship, originality and quality
Philippe CONSTANTIN was born in Cameroun to a French father and a moroccan mother. He grew up in Casablanca and decided to go to France when he turned 18 years to study economics and international law. He wanted to join an international organization to help people in need but one encounter changes his destiny. The day Philippe met the perfumer Jean Claude Gigodot changes his life and his career. His passion for perfumes was born.
A few years later he decided to create MAISON INCENS in honor of his father and the manuscript he has left his son with: a compilation of paintings on leather, and scented stories. Philippe’s creations are the olfactory signature of his father’s book.
The collections he creates are inspired by an unknown civilisation called ARTGANIS in witch the codes of communication are based upon fragrances and life ruled by smells.
On ARTGANIS the governing family is called MAISON INCENS. The Artganians travel across the universe to bring back the most beautiful perfumes that they discover during their different stays in different worlds. In my father's novel, he focused on the earth cycle.
The first Opus concerns Artganians perfumes produced with their endemic essences and who each have a role to play in the Artganian society.
The second Opus concerns the period when they settled in Morocco and where they were captivated by the olfactory richness of this land of legends.
The third opus deals with the divinatory arts that they observed in several places on the planet. We know today that they use these different perfumes to practice the divinatory arts on their planet ARTGANIS.
The latest Opus is based on their fascination for the most beautiful earthly raw ingredients by exploring only the hearts of these legendary materials.
